I made a special order to include a 2 cubby shelf on top of what you see pictured and it came out incredibly well. The package was sealed and wrapped for safety and I can't say enough good things about the quality of the build or how their customer service accommodated my special request.

Quality is good! Not cheap looking. Was hoping they sold the 5 hook model so I went with the three. Smaller than what I wanted but a quality item. I would buy again from this vendor.

I cannot say enough about the quality and beauty of this coat rack and shelf. It took a long time to arrive (about a month) but I was in contact with the vendor who set expectations accurately and honestly. (Thanks to Amazon for providing email contact info for their third party vendors.) They were extremely responsive. I ordered "Michael's" stain color which is a medium brown color. The hooks are heavy gauge steel, the finish is flawless, topped with what looks like a satin poly topcoat, the wood is solid oak, and it is well constructed. It is a piece of art that I regret relegating to a back hall. I wish I could use it in a more prominent area of my house, but when art serves a function you do what you have to. Hanging it was easy because it has removable wood pegs that expose pre-drilled screw holes. Screws and wall anchors are not included which I view as a benefit because the type and length of screw and anchor you use varies according to the type of wall you have. I saw lots of made-in-china MDF-board constructed (or worse) coat rack/shelf units that were similarly priced. This is a great value for an American made solid wood rack.
