At long last, I have the classiest looking laundry bag in my apartment building. My fellow tenants are blown away by my good taste and style. All kidding aside, this is a nice bag. It has held up very well so far (6 months), bag removes for easy washing, and it is also easy to lug up and down four flights of stairs. It also has a small footprint that lets it fit nicely in my skinny closet. Perfect size for one week's worth of laundry for two (clean) people.

The first thing out of the box was the intense smell of something I'm certain is toxic; no kidding, the smell was absolutely awful!!!!!! And it doesn't wash-out! haven't been so disappointed in a purchase as I am with this product, especially considering the price. The huge design flaw of the bag that make this an epic fail for me are:-The Smell - even with two washings and drying in the sun for several days, I couldn't get the chemical stink out (petroleum, glue, who knows?)-The Needless PVC Coating - as dirty laundry piles into this bag and the fabric absorbs the smell, I want to be able to throw it into the washing machine and dryer along with the clothes, not possible with this model, you can wash it (cold water only) but it cannot be put into the dryer. Too much work for a laundry bag. I think between the chemical smell of the fabric and a teen-age boy's dirty laundry, his room would qualify as a superfund hazard waste clean-up site by the EPA in no time flat.On the positive, the construction is solid, and I was able to sew up a nice, cotton canvas twill bag that can be machine washed AND dried so it wasn't a complete loss and I'm willing to give it one star for that.

I was looking for laundry baskets for weeks before I decided on buying this one. Everything else was ridiculously expensive. This laundry basket is simple and looks contemporary without looking too plain. It's not flimsy unless you are cramming 2 weeks worth of laundry in the bag. Also, it does not retain odors. I have it set next to my closet organizer which is black with steel frames and frosted glass windows, and my wall color is a 'birds of paradise' orange. The bamboo on the laundry basket brings it all together. It's like that hot guy with the somewhat messed up hair... you think he woke up perfect, but he didn't. Anyway, you should buy this product if you're looking for a great place to put your laundry for a good price. Also, it looks better in person... just like that imaginary hot guy I made you think about.
