I just ordered this to dry my light cotton clothes- I am a college student and our laundromat prices are easily double what they are off-campus, so using this for laundry saves a bit of hard-earned $$$ by not paying to use the dryer. It does serve its intended function, but it is definitely NOT sturdy at all. I agree with the prevoius reviewer- some of the rods did not fit inside the holes on the sides of the structure, and one of them wasn't even long enough to extend from one end to the other (I should probably mention that this made the "no-tool assembly" a royal pain). For the price range, I didn't really expect any better, but at the end of the day I estimate it will pay for itself in about two weeks based on what I save on laundromat expenses (yeah, our prices are that ridiculous). So for that, and that reason alone, I give it 3 stars and not 2.

I ordered this for, obviously, drying delicate clothes. I didn't really expect it to be able to handle soaked jeans, etc., but I was hoping it'd be sturdier than it was. Some of the notches weren't wide enough for the rods, so I had to do some tweaking. I don't think it's worth the money, but I don't really see anything in that price range that would likely be any better, so I'm keeping with it. Definitely will never use jeans on it, only light stuff!

I've purchased wooden clothes drying racks before, but this one was exceptionally difficult to put together. It took almost 30 minutes of gentle hammering to get the thing put together. Every time I would get one dowel in, 2-3 more would pop loose. Next time I'll stick with the brands I know or try a chrome version.Once I got the thing together it seems to work normally, but the frustration in assembling something so simple means I would not buy this item again.
